Sanborn’s Joins the Fight Against Breast Cancer

Make sure you have your phone (or an old-fashioned camera) handy, because very soon it will again be time to Catch Me In PinkTM. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The annual campaign promotes awareness, prevention and treatment of women suffering from this horrible disease.

With our wives, mothers, sisters, daughters and friends who are battling or have battled breast cancer in our thoughts, Sanborn’s Air Conditioning & Heating is proud and excited to take part in this campaign for the second year, which is a win-win situation for everyone. If you’re not familiar with Catch Me In PinkTM, here is how it works:

Sanborn’s employees will be wearing Catch Me In PinkTM shirts. When you see them in their shirt, take a picture, an “USIE”, of you and the Sanborn’s staff (just the 2 of you). Include the #CatchMeInPink hashtag when tagging our Facebook page @SanbornsAC and post it. Be sure to tag yourself for proper entry. It’s a fun campaign about a serious subject. Sanborn’s will make a $5 donation to the Vera Bradley Foundation for every #CatchMeInPink pic you post on Facebook. Each photo entry properly submitted will be automatically entered for weekly drawings. We will give away two Vera Bradley bags and two $25 Visa® gift cards.  Entries are limited to one per person, so the quicker you enter, the better chance you have to win one of these four great prizes. By posting the photo you will also be entered for a national Grand Prize which is a trip to St. Croix, US Virgin Islands!

The Vera Bradley Foundation was founded in 1998 to honor a friend and fellow employee who died from breast cancer. To date, the foundation has raised millions of dollars and is part of the fabric of the company. Of every dollar donated, 86-cents goes to breast cancer research.
