Indoor Air Quality – Prepare for Flu Season

Although autumn and winter is filled with tons of terrific things like the holidays and family meetings, the colder seasons also brings with it the flu. Although we are all warned about the flu since we were little, it is something to be taken seriously. It has devastated more families in America than it should have in recent years, so we urge everyone to take proper precautions against the flu, both in their day-to-day activities and in their HVAC systems.

Avoiding the Flu

To avoid the flu, make sure you are regularly washing your hands or using hand sanitizer if you are on the go. If your home comes in contact with a large group of people, try to keep these areas sanitized as much as possible. Flu particles can live on surfaces for over 6 hours, so it is worth giving your tables a wipe down once in a while. If you currently have the flu, we highly recommend that you try to stay indoors as much as possible until you are better. If you must be outside, always cover your mouth when you cough and wash your hands often and thoroughly.
